Terms of Service

Last updated: April 8, 2026

1. Service Description

Verbum provides website design, hosting, and management services for law firms and legal professionals. Our services include professional website creation, lead capture forms, review integrations, and ongoing maintenance. By subscribing to Verbum, you agree to these Terms of Service in full.

2. Subscription and Payment

Verbum operates on a monthly subscription basis. Your subscription begins on the date of first payment and renews automatically each calendar month. You authorize Verbum to charge your payment method on file at the start of each billing cycle. Prices are subject to change with 30 days' written notice to your registered email address.

3. Cancellation

You may cancel your subscription at any time. Cancellations take effect at the end of the current billing period. No partial refunds are issued for unused days in a billing cycle. Upon cancellation, your website will be taken offline and all associated data will be deleted within 30 days unless you request an export in advance.

4. Intellectual Property

Content you provide to Verbum — including your firm name, logo, attorney profiles, and practice area descriptions — remains your property. Verbum retains ownership of all website templates, design systems, and proprietary software used to deliver the service. Upon cancellation, you may request an export of your content in standard formats within the 30-day window following cancellation.

5. Acceptable Use

You agree to use Verbum only for lawful purposes. You may not use our service to publish false or misleading information about your legal credentials or services, infringe on any third party's intellectual property, engage in spam or unsolicited communications, or violate any applicable laws or bar association rules governing attorney advertising in your jurisdiction.

6. Service Availability

Verbum targets 99.9% uptime but does not guarantee uninterrupted service. Scheduled maintenance will be communicated in advance where possible. Verbum is not liable for losses resulting from service interruptions caused by events outside our reasonable control, including infrastructure outages, natural disasters, or third-party service failures.

7. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Verbum's total liability to you for any claim arising out of or related to these Terms or the service shall not exceed the total amount you paid to Verbum in the three months preceding the claim. Verbum is not liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages.

8. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Delaware, without regard to conflict of law principles. Any disputes shall be resolved in the state or federal courts located in Delaware, and you consent to personal jurisdiction in those courts.

9. Contact
